DOGS WELCOME

Yes, courteous canine companions are welcome at HOME + HOUND! We agree that shopping with your pet is fun, however, dogs must be well mannered, refrain from barking, + be leashed at all times. Dogs that jump on people or store fixtures will be asked to leave. Please allow plenty of space between others while in the shop + always ask permission before greeting.

Upon entering HOME + HOUND, all pet owners are liable by law for the condition of their dog’s health + behavior. If your dog does not fare well with other animals, please do not bring them inside. Puppies that have not completed their vaccinations should be carried by their owner.

HOME + HOUND is not responsible for any communicable diseases. Any merchandise eliminated on or damaged by a pet or person is the financial responsibility of each shopper, no exceptions.

HOME + HOUND understands that accidents occur, however, this small business expects each customer to handle goods with care during their visit. Any merchandise damaged by a pet or person is the financial responsibility of each shopper.

HOME + HOUND does not tolerate theft; shoplifters will be prosecuted.

HOME + HOUND is always looking for fresh finds that complement its product categories. If you would like your work to be considered, please complete our Vendor Submission Form. Email or social media messages requesting to conduct wholesale business outside of HOME + HOUND’s Vendor Submission Form are not guaranteed a response. Thank you for understanding that walk-ins are not accepted, samples are not permitted to be left at the store, + products are reviewed by appointment only on a quarterly basis.

NO SOLICITATION

HOME + HOUND prohibits the solicitation, distribution + posting of any materials on company property that are not supported by HOME + HOUND management. Anyone attempting to sell unwanted goods or services will be asked to leave. The customer experience is extremely valuable to us; please do not disrupt it. Email is generally the best method of contact. An appointment will be scheduled if there is interest by HOME + HOUND management in your goods or services.

PAYMENT

HOME + HOUND is a cashless retail shop. Accepted methods of payment include debit + credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover in addition to Apple, Google + Samsung Pay.

SALES TAX

San Diego county and The City of San Diego require a 7.75% sales tax to be charged on all purchases.

PARKING

Limited 2 hour street parking is available near the shop in addition to the ACE Parking Garage located 1 block west at 3829 29th Street for a rate of $1 per hour.

GENERAL PRODUCT Warranties

All products are covered by the warranty policies of their respective manufacturers or makers. Please contact HOME + HOUND via email if you have questions about a specific item. Sending messages through social media does not guarantee a response.

If you would like to make a warranty claim, please bring your item(s) with proof of purchase into the shop for review. HOME + HOUND reserves the right to refuse returned products that have been used, worn, or altered in any way unless the product is determined to be defective by the maker or manufacturer.

The lifespan of items sold at HOME + HOUND is determined by the care + wear each item has been subjected to. Material breakage, fading, fraying, split seams, pet damage, shrinkage or other signs of wear due to improper care is not considered a manufacturer’s defect.

By completing a transaction at HOME + HOUND, purchaser and users are in agreement of all shop policies, terms + conditions published at www.homeandhoundsd.com.

PET ACCESSORY DISCLAIMER

All pet items are accessories only; HOME + HOUND + the makers of each brand that HOME + HOUND carries assume no liability. The use of the product + safety of the pet + handler is completely at the purchaser +/or user’s discretion + responsibility. When a product is purchased, the purchaser/user agrees to indimnify HOME + HOUND for any loss, damage or injury.

The lifespan of all pet accessory items sold at HOME + HOUND is determined by the care, wear, + elements each item is subjected to. Material breakage, fading, fraying + other signs of wear due to chewing, scratching, water, sand or excessive dirt exposure that may compromise the integrity of an item beyond normal wear is not considered a manufacturer’s defect.
